Fees

After our initial phone call to discuss the charges, I can provide a fee estimate and payment plan. A retainer is required that is kept in an audited trust account with payments only made on invoice for work completed. 

I obtained a Bachelor of Laws Degree and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in physiology from Auckland University and was admitted to the bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 1985. 

I am a member of the New Zealand Law Society and hold a current practising certificate as a Barrister sole.

I am listed as a provider with the legal services agency and accept legal aid assignments for criminal charges. 

I worked as an appointed Lawyer in the Alcohol and Other Drug Treatment Court at Waitakere District Court for 8 years and specialise in dealing with people who have alcohol, drug, gambling or other addition dependencies. 

I take a careful and planned approach with all my clients. My experience allows me to provide pragmatic advice to achieve the best possible outcome. 

Please remember that  before you discuss  any confidential information with a Lawyer you must first engage the Lawyer to establish a Client- Lawyer relationship.

An instructing solicitor is required and one can be provided.
